•Psalm 41 (NLT)
Psalm 41 is a prayer for God's mercy when we may feel sick or even abandoned. We just have to remember that even when no one else is, God will always remain by our side.
(Vs.4) "O Lord," I prayed," have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you".
We must confess that we have sinned. If we are battling a sickness, relationship problems, etc., we can't just expect God to fix it all when we haven't even done our part with our relationship with him can we? I wouldn't think so. We must have that relationship and communication with God. We can't just seek Him when we need a healing or repair a relationship. We must seek Him even when things are going good in our lives not just during our struggles.
•Pslam 103:3 (NLT)
"He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases".
God is MORE than happy to forgive and forget, and heal and wipe clean. All He asks is for a relationship with Him.
I have a great relationship with my husband, but my relationship with him won't forgive my sins or heal my body and soul. Only God can, and only God will.
•Pslam 3:3 (NLT)
"But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high".
When things come against us, we may be tempted to blame God and think he is against us for us to be going through such a battle/struggle, but He's not.
God is still for us even when the enemy tried to get us to think otherwise. He is still for us no matter what comes our way.
We can't blame God- we must SEEK Him!
